For one of our clients in the pharma industry we’re looking for a freelance Media Manager:

Project goal: Development and roll-out of updated global guidance for successfully activating consumer media

Project Description:

Media is a key consumer activation driver for our Pet Para/Retail Business to protect and grow our brands market position (especially Frontline and Nexgard) against competition, establish available new launches, deliver our brand ambition and strengthen our equity. To maximize the Return on Investment of our media investments an acceleration of our close, time intensive collaboration with markets and Global Strategic Marketing is needed to provide global guidance, hands on support and build local media capabilities.

Task Description:
  • Development of content to provide guidance on core principles for activating our pet para brands in media
  • Review existing Media Management & Execution, identifying current “pain points” for markets and defining changes to guide local teams in successfully activating Pet Para brands in consumer media
  • Screen existing data and insight sources provided by the client and define key relevant information to be included as supporting data
  • Prepare a proposal on how to create a picture of success by defining what good looks like for each Brand and Focus Market
  • Define Key Performance Indicators to measure for each Focus Market as a base for measuring success
  • Screen internally (and externally) for local market execution examples which can be used to demonstrate good/best practice
  • Collect and assess existing consumer media activation best practices from focus markets and make a proposal of what can be included
  • Collect examples of best practices from external consumer business companies to be handed over to the client
  • Create guidance and tools to support and educate markets implement media management locally
  • Define a frame for putting the global media guidance in the local context and identifying gaps
  • Define requirements for tracking of local media plans; how to quantify local gaps/opportunities, prioritizing actions, developing long term media roadmap and setting and tracking Key Performance Indicators
  • Define a roll-out plan, to be handed over to the client, to deploy to markets, including set up of a Global Media Community, identification of needs for training, development of training and how this can be covered as part of the roll-out
Skills:
  • 10 years professional media experience in media agency and/or as media manager of consumer brands company
  • In Market(s) media planning experience
  • Global/Regional Media Management experience
  • Project Management, Guidance, Toolkit, Training development and roll out experience
  • World Class Powerpoint Presentation (and Story) Building Skills (Consolidate 10.000 slides to a hand full of presentation desks for Senior management pointing out the key messages)
  • Professional Business English Skills
