Project description:
- As part of the GRP 2024 project, the client plans to further develop and roll out SAP APO PP/DS as a production planning tool in the pharmaceutical industry.
- All services provided in the project are provided within the framework of a hybrid-agile project organization.
Background of the assignment
- The continuous development of SAP APO PP/DS as a production planning tool for the pharmaceutical industry requires many years of expertise and industry knowledge, which cannot be provided internally by the client. In addition, additional services are required as part of the rollouts for which the client does not have suitable resources. The contractor has many years of experience in implementing SAP APO or equivalent systems and can therefore take on an advisory role. Therefore, the contractor has a prominent position and provides significantly different services than the internal employees.

As part of the project, the contractor creates training documents, user requirements and test reports and makes these available to the customers; He also advises the customer on the implementation of production planning processes in SAP APO. All documents are checked by the customer as a final resort. The contractor receives all the information needed for implementation during the agile project meetings.
The detailed tasks are:
- Designing, carrying out and documenting functional tests in SAP ERP / APO. The functions to be tested are defined by the project team within the agile project meetings. The tests are documented informally in MS Word.
- Professional and technical advice on the implementation of production planning processes in SAP APO. The questions that require advice are collected during the agile project team meetings and passed on to the contractor.
- Creation of training documents for production planning in SAP APO in PowerPoint. The customer is responsible for carrying out the training and all documents are checked by the customer in the final instance.
- Creation of user requirements in MS Word. The requirements are defined within the agile project meetings and passed on to the contractor. All documents are checked by the customer as a final resort.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in planning production processes in SAP APO (or SAP ERP)
- Several years of experience in software implementation projects
- Experience in a GxP-regulated environment (pharmaceuticals or food)
