Football Communications Project Manager - March 2024

For one of our clients we are looking for a Football Communications Project Manager


Project Description:

IMPROVEMENT OF EXECUTION OF THE SEC CLUBS AND UCL/UWCL SPONSORSHIPS BY CONNECTING GLOBAL CLIENT, LOCAL CLIENT TEAMS AND EXTERNAL RESOURCES (ADVERTISING AGENCIES AND SPORTMARKETING PARTNERS).

Tasks:
  • Coordination of the execution of the UCL/UWCL seasonal activation plan:
    • Follow up with external suppliers (leading comms agency) and partners (UEFA account managers) to deliver the relevant content pieces and activations required to execute the existing sponsorship rights. With special focus in the launch of the official licensed product (Balls, ftw and accs). Follow up with external suppliers/partners via email or call (contact details shared upfront), and weekly/biweekly status calls.
    • Upload all content to internal platforms (DAB and CP currently) for markets and channels to access. All required access credential and usage instructions will be provided ahead of commencing.
    • Development of pre and post campaign analysis and reports in powerpoint format following specific structure and content inclusion provided by the client upfront.
    • Development of reports and overviews for internal and external milestones (communicated in advance). These documents are to be created in excel and powerpoint format following specific structure and content inclusion provided by the client upfront.
    • The development itself (of reports, overviews, campaign analysis) is based on the contractor’s expertise.
  • Coordination of the execution of the 2024 Global-Local licensed apparel activation plan with local clubs not managed by global:
    • Tasks include the tracking of the KPIs by checking the status of the project itself (timeline and form) and informing the client in case KPIs are not being achieved in the biweekly meetings and via email for recording.
    • Distribution of content across stakeholders in time and form. (contacts, format and timing provided as part of the project plan upfront)
    • Development of monthly status report and campaign overviews. These documents are to be created in excel and powerpoint format following specific structure and content inclusion provided by the client upfront.

The performance of the contractor has the goal:
 
  • ENHANCE THE EXECUTION OF THE SPONSORSHIP RIGHTS OF LOCAL CLUBS AND EUROPEAN COMPETITION.

The following timelines are to be adhered to by the external during the performance of the service:
 
  • START DATE MARCH 15TH
  • MONTLY SEC CLUB LAUNCHES FROM APRIL TO DEC
  • UCL & UWCL FINAL (END MAY – BEG JUNE)
  • UCL FW24 OMB LAUNCH (JULY)
  • UCL DRAW (SEPTEMBER)
  • UCL SS25 OMB (DEC)

Start: 15.03.2024
End: 31.12.2024
Capacity: full-time (40 h/week)
Location: 100% remote
