Project Description:
  
The client is seeking a competent and experienced Service Owner who will be able to quickly assume responsibility for the service ownership topics shown below. This role will suit an experienced consultant who has a strong customer focus and a background of owning services on behalf of an IT organisation or has a back ground in product management.

Main Tasks:
 
  • Managing the existing workplace service (Windows 7)
    • Management of the 3rd-party service provider
    • Escalation point and resolver for major end user service issues
    • Review and approval of architectural decisions,
    • Service Catalogue Management for PC client services,
    • Ownership of Core & Supplemental Applications
 
  • Project Support for the future Workplace (Windows 10, in deployment) o Management of multiple 3rd-party service providers
    • Application Testing
    • Engagement with project team to understand and support deployment
    • Support in setting up and overseeing the evergreen testing processes
    • Content preparation and review for SNow Catalogue Management
    • Support of SNow Asset Management processes and reporting
 
  • Workplace reporting:
    • Monitoring of service consumption and basic service budget management
    • MWP Dashboard
    • KPIs
 
  • Service Ownership for Citrix / VDI
    • Service Catalogue Management for Citrix and VDI user services
    • Support Citrix TMO Project during user migration
    • Support VDI roadmap development, DHD pilot, new service development
 
  • Support of Service Ownership for Office 365 / E-Mail Services
    • Service Catalogue Management for O365
    •  Escalation point and resolver for major end user service issues
    • Support license assignment process
    • Support Office 365 Phase 2 project and update to 1708
 
  • Support of Service Ownership for User Access / RAS
    • Service Catalogue Management for user access topics
