O365 Migration Consultant - February 2019

For one of our clients we are looking for an O365 Migration Consultant

Overview:
The client O365 Project Team have a requirement for a Consultant to manage the Data migration from the client's common Legacy based H: drive to the O365 Cloud based OneDrive solution.
This is an ‘B’ class project, which would suit an experienced consultant with previous experience and/or knowledge of Cloud technology project deliveries who is keen to be involved and shape the future of the client's data storage. The ability to manage senior stakeholders is essential as is the ability to produce regular reports and communications updates.


Tasks include:
  • Analyze high level migration plan, identify bottle necks and possible solutions to circumvent, define timelines & responsibilities
  • Create detailed in depth migration plan & adjust based on project development
  • Coordinate & manage migration from H: to OneDrive by co-ordinating and steer O365 Change and Adoption resources responsible for communications, tracking and reporting
  • Consult communication teams with regard to setting up key communications to stakeholders
  • Coordinate message releases during different migration phases
  • Identify deviations of migration plan or scope of project including deliverables & coordinate measures to adhere to migration plan

  • Experience of working under the pressure and within programs which have a number of dependencies.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 product, Infrastructure components and base network services.
  • Extensive professional experience in mass migration projects
  • Previous experience in managing infrastructure projects

Location: This role will be office based and travel to Dusseldorf or Birmingham will be required as well as other locations if necessary. There are dependencies to other key IT programs within the client and Liaison between programs will be required. Work-related travel is covered
Capacity: 30 hours/week onsite, 20 hours/week remote
Duration: 6 months+
Start: ASAP
