Summary Job Description:
The Senior Tech Analyst, under minimal supervision, will provide oversight and technical guidance to the offshore team on Statistica® implementation while working closely with project stakeholders at Client site. Associate would be responsible for accomplishing the stated project objectives, building the execution plan, managing scope and timelines.
Key Accountabilities
- Primary responsibility would be to work on Statistica® Client/Enterprise Manager to create configurations and workspaces based on requirements
- Associate would also be working on Statistica Visual basic and C# to create scripts that can run on TIBCO Statistica platform
- Develop core templates or MicroStrategy reports from Enhancements or requirements stated by clients.
- Must have strong analytical skills. Anticipates issues and deals with them proactively.
- Able to partner well with internal/ external vendors and sites across regions to achieve desired outcome
- Promptly and proactively respond to user inquiries and can multi-task and work well under high pressure situations
- Associate would work independently and collaboratively with others in delivering results to assigned tasks and enhancements
- Understands the need to be client focused and build strong relationships across the organization
Job Requirements:
- Experience on Business intelligence reporting, or Data Analytics tools like Statistica, Spotfire etc. (TIBCO Statistica® preferred)
- High proficiency in design, develop, test and maintain VB .net, C#, R and MVC tools/apps with connectivity to Oracle or SQL database.
- Good understanding of Pharma Manufacturing concepts and systems (GMP, historians, MES etc.). Good to have some insights on CPV, Stability analysis and Product Traceability etc.
- Excellent communication skills to include internal and external communication & documentation
- Proven ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a resilient and flexible manner
- Is capable of becoming recognised as an expert within Cognizant and can develop this profile within the client organisation
Knowledge:
- 6+ years of experience in designing and developing web based and standalone applications using VB.net and C#
- Experience in R and Matlab is good to have
- Experience working in SDLC, validating solutions, and working as a Software Engineer.
- Experience of on-site / off-shore delivery model
- Knowledge of business concepts in Pharmaceutical industry, especially manufacturing
- Strong experience with MS Tools: MS Project, Visio, Powerpoint, Word, Excel
- German speaking would be considered as an advantage.
