For one of our clients we are looking for a Project Manager/PMO with deep SAFe experience
The project is about the creation and implementation of a technical innovation on the field of Smart Home for laundry and Home care products. Project members are form based on a consortium of different external partners specialist on different areas of the product / service
Background to the assignment:
As part of the project technical development for Smart Home products L&HC, we plan 2 different work-streams focus on new cleaning apparatus & software to operate those UX/devices . This includes, among other things, the (further) agile project management among different pool of suppliers . The development also requires deep knowledge on Agile methodologies (SAFe), engineering background to understand mechatronics as well as knowledge on software development processes. As those products require a very specific knowledge combined + the deep understanding about agile methodology, consequently, we do not have our own employees with sufficient expertise in connection agile project management, for this reason requires external expertise. The contractor used by us has extensive experience with projects that require agile project management, therefore the contractor has a unique position and provides significantly different services than the internal staff.
Further info: The services shall be provided within the framework of an agile development method focus on project management. The concrete activities required in each case to implement the services commissioned shall be agreed iteratively between the parties within the framework of sprint meetings and implemented by the Contractor within the respective sprints following the sprint meetings. Prior to each sprint meeting, the contractor shall independently check, on the basis of its professional expertise, which individual services are reasonable and feasible within the scope of the assignment in the respective sprint. The sprints each have a duration of 3 weeks, so that the sprint meetings take place at intervals of every 3 weeks. Within the individual sprints, all the contracting parties shall coordinate the respective technical requirements for the services to be provided in daily meetings in order to achieve the compatibility of the individual components for the Smart Home project activities. The technical requirements for the services to be provided are assessed by the Contractor on the basis of its own technical assessment. After completion of a Sprint, the Parties shall conduct a "Sprint Review'' in which the Contractor reports on the feasibility and status of the services performed by it in the previous Sprint and makes a recommendation on how to proceed with regard to the services that proved to be unfeasible in the respective Sprint. All of the meetings and exchanges described above shall take place exclusively in the presence of a central contact person named by us, together with the KAM on every team member for the external contractors who shall coordinate the project on our internal side. The organisation and scheduling of the meetings described above in which the Contractor is involved shall be organised and carried out by the Contractor and coordinated with us and the rest of the external companies involve in the project
Preparation and creation of the Agile boards for all team members, based on the template provided in advance;
Moderation about the objectives of the sprint with the external technical project owners;
Summarize the weekly sprint to the team which is only available every three weeks and facilitate feedback session among all team members every 3 weeks;
Coordination and execution of weekly meeting with external subcontractors;
Documentation of the sprint following the requirement documents and upload sharepoint to discuss in our 3rd week of sprint & reporting of the project status;
Creation of the timeline based on the predefined milestones provided in the brief session.
