Description:

The FDA published 2012 a new guideline regarding the continuous process verification ofpharmaceutical products. The guideline requests the proof of broad process knowledge andimplementation of a continuous monitoring of parameters defined as critical process parameters. The Process Analysis is a main part on the path to achieve sound product knowledge and to performprocess trouble shooting. The basis of a good process analysis is a broad data volume regarding theproduct quality and manufacturing process. The Global Data Trending Solution (BI-AS-GDTS) serves the purpose to consolidate, transform andmerge all corporate-wide available electronic data regarding product quality, manufacturing processand enterprise resource planning into a common data pool. Therefore it is necessary to establishindividual interfaces to several data sources and to grant a general access to the aggregated data forGDTS. Since the data will be used for GxP-relevant trending and reporting the GDTS relevant INFORMATICA workflows implemented on the INFORMATICA infrastructure system (current version 10.4) has to be validated.

Tasks:

• Projekt: GDTS Release 3.0
• The ongoing global project BI-AS-GDTS will be implemented to a next Release – GDTS Release 3.0.
• Therefore, the existing GDTS Informatica framework needs to be extended to load and transform additional quality data out of the new or existing source systems to the GDTS application system.
• Already existent interfaces need to be adjusted or modified like GBS United in the GDTS Informatica framework.
• New interfaces needs to be implemented as the Biopharma customer has new source systems like MyLIMS.
• A review, redesign and rework of the existing Informatica framework is also planned in that project phase.
• All needed access rights/permissions, requirements and documentation will be handed over to the contractor upfront to enable the contractor to work on the listed tasks.

Tasks:
1. Informatica Workflow enhancement GDTS Release 3.0 – MyLIMS

• Create technical mapping documentation with defined and delivered requirements which is needed for validation documentation for GxP system BI-AS-GDTS
• Enhance GDTS Informatica framework for new global source system MyLIMS
• Develop mapping (interface) for analysis data (CQA) in corresponding workflows
• Development testing for newly created interface in already existing BI testing system and GDTS environment as needed for GxP system BI-AS-GDTS
• Create or Update GDTS Validation IT documentation in Boehringer documentation management system which will be reviewed and approved by internal GDTS IT members
• Informatica deployment of updated GDTS workflows from DEV to QA and PROD via defined Boehringer process

2. Informatica Workflow enhancement GDTS Release 2.0 – GBS United

• Existing GBS interface needs to be extended with additional source qualifier fields to enhance existing CQA data structure.
• Create technical mapping documentation with given template documentation which is needed for validation documentation for GxP system BI-AS-GDTS
• e. Development testing for adapted interface in already existing BI testing system and GDTS environment as needed for GxP system BI-AS-GDTS
• f. Create or Update GDTS Validation IT documentation in Boehringer documentation management system which will be reviewed and approved by internal GDTS IT members
• g. Informatica deployment of updated GDTS workflows from DEV to QA and PROD via defined Boehringer process

3. Informatica Workflow enhancement GDTS Release 3.0 – MES

• Create technical mapping documentation with defined and delivered requirements which is needed for validation documentation for GxP system BI-AS-GDTS
• Enhance GDTS Informatica framework for new global source system MES
• Develop mapping (interface) for process data (CPP) in corresponding workflows
• Development testing for newly created interface in already existing BI testing system and GDTS environment as needed for GxP system BI-AS-GDTS
• Create or Update GDTS Validation IT documentation in Boehringer documentation management system which will be reviewed and approved by internal GDTS IT members
• Informatica deployment of updated GDTS workflows from DEV to QA and PROD via defined Boehringer process

4. Review, redesign and rework of the existing Informatica framework

• Review existing Informatica GDTS framework and show up potential improvements. Focus should be simplification in parametrization of current existing parameter files per workflow. Improve the framework for more robustness in operational mode.
• After BI GDTS internal alignment the contractor gets a working package with defined tasks . The contractor works independently, can start to redesign and rework the existing Informatica framework.
• Create necessary validation documentation accordingly redesigned and further on implemented Informatica framework.
• Update existing test approach in BI testing tool for redesigned Informatica framework.

Required skills:

• min. 3 years of experience in Informatica development and implementation in projects.
