Job Description:
  • BI’s digital workplace is the entry ticket to BI’s digital world with the goal to empower all users at Bi with cutting-edge, easy to use technology to seamlessly tackle their daily tasks. The Digital workplace will work to help users collaborate, work and share, anytime, anywhere with any device with anyone.
  • BI is in need of a specialist to consult the BI Team on Engagement & Training in the Digital Workplace booths. The expertise needed will need experience in handling internal social media activities, dialect checking German translations, hosting online learning sessions, providing onsite trainings on end-user technology, among other things.

Project task description:

Digital Workplace events:
  • Demonstrating product features, benefits, and use cases to generate interest and promote the brand via Technology Hubs and creative activities. The Demonstration strategy will be based on the contractor’s experience and know-how.
  • Engaging with visitors for one month, to explain products/services, and answer their questions, representing Digital Workplace on onsite events. This includes posting to Teams Channels for promotion and setting up a booth for events as well as representing the Brand as an external and being introduced as such.
Internal social media:
  • Monitoring social media platforms for employee engagement, responding to comments and inquiries, and foster a positive online community.
  • Creating engaging posts, articles, and multimedia content related to technology updates, training resources, and Digital Workplace events.
  • These activities will be performed based on the contractor’s experience.
Dialect Checking German Translations:
  • Reviewing German translations to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Verifying that the translations align with the intended meaning and adhere to company guidelines.
  • Consult translation teams to address any issues or improvements needed.
  • These activities will be performed based on the contractor’s experience.
Onsite Training:
  • Conducting onsite training sessions on end-user technology, including but not limited to Office Suite, collaboration tools and video conference.
  • Consulting the BI Learning team to tailor training programs to meet the specific needs and skill levels of participants.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to confirm participants' understanding and proficiency.
  • These activities will be performed based on the contractor’s experience.
Online Learning Session:
  • Organizing the online learning session with the Subject Matter Experts and Learning team via Digital Workplace.
  • Utilizing multimedia tools and interactive techniques to encourage engaging in online learning sessions on various end user technology topics via DWP.
  • Monitoring participant engagement, address questions, and provide input during the sessions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft end-user technology and related applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure accurate dialect checks for German translations.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills for hosting online learning sessions and onsite trainings.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills for engaging visitors in Digital Workplace Events.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing social media.
