Project description:
The client has roles that set standards for state-of-the-art-digital analytics, select analytical tools for worldwide use, and define analytical blueprints for these tools across a broad range of digital channels. Digital Analysts & Insights Managers in Global and local roles follow these standards and use these tools for their analysis. Due to a lack internal expertise in the client, a technical expert in the area of web analytics, web tagging, and server-side tracking is needed. The contractor will manage the translation of business requirements into exact instructions that can be handed to IT colleagues for direct implementation.

Tasks:
- Reviewing the strategic web analytics framework
The Contractor will receive the strategic web analytics framework in advance and will use his expertise to know how this framework can be translated into the technical language and requirements - Reviewing the existing web analytics blueprint for Adobe Analytics
The Contractor will receive the existing web analytics blueprint in advance and will use his expertise to assess the quality, strengths, and weaknesses of the blueprint - Writing definitions for each metric
The Contractor will receive the existing definitions for web metrics and will use his expertise to build up a comprehensive set of definitions that can be handed to IT for implementation - Writing business requirements for assessment of a new web analytics tool
The Contractor will use his expertise to provide input into an rfp process to evaluate different web analytics tools and potentially select a new web analytics tool - Providing business-requirement-based consulting for server-side tracking implementation
The Contractor will use his expertise to provide input into a new implementation of server-side tracking - Writing an overview of available IT tools that complement/surround web analytics tools platforms (e.g. session recording, heat maps)
The Contractor will use his expertise to build up on overview of tools that the client could use to complement standard web analytics tools - The Contractor will document all reviews, blueprints and gaps in standard MS Office applications and will turn them over to the client for review and further usage.
- 3-4 Years working with Adobe Analytics
- 3-4 Years experience in Web Analytics framework
- Experience identifying and working with Business Requirements
- Fluent English required
- German nice to have
