Project Description:
The project will implement a global technology platform that will automate, standardize, and provide key insights to global compliance risk areas. The platform will deliver two key elements - global compliance risk assessment for strong risk governance and global compliance monitoring for testing and continuous improvement.
The project is going to be executed in an agile way of working.
Background to the assignment:
The big project with various streams is a new challenge for the two Scrum Masters and the cleint's global Compliance Organization is new to agile, meaning there is no internal expertise for this project. Therefore, an external contractor is needed to provide professional consulting to the Scrum Masters, provide training and upskilling to the organization and setting up the agile ways of working. Thus, the external contractor is in a unique position and provides significantly different services than internal client’s employees.
Task Description:
The Contractor will provide following services based on his previous expertise & experience in the Agile Coaching field.
The client will be providing all necessary information, documents, access to relevant systems and all other requirements in advance.

The Contractor will provide following services based on his previous expertise & experience in the Agile Coaching field.
The client will be providing all necessary information, documents, access to relevant systems and all other requirements in advance.
- Coaching and mentoring the existing Scrum Masters to extend their understanding and practice of agile ways of working. This contains joint preparation of meetings and workshops, attending these meetings and workshops, debriefing afterwards, and giving feedback about improvement possibilities.
- Share knowledge resources and background information about agile ways of working.
- Together with the Scrum Masters, train the project team and the involved / affected colleagues in both IT and business organization in agile basics, make them understand what agile is, how they can contribute to the success and why they profit from this way of working.
- Provide professional consulting to the Scrum Masters in how to set up the technical environment (Jira, Confluence or similar tools requested by the project team) and doing the set up of the technical environment when required.
- Coach and mentor the Scrum Masters and the project team in how to set up the ways of working and meeting structures for the project and the various streams within the project.
- Identifying impediments and dependencies, coaching and mentoring the organization in resolving them.
- Active participation in the Agile Coaching Chapter in the form of participating the weekly meeting and taking over the facilitation of the meeting occasionally.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as agile coach
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office incl. Teams, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
- International Corporate experience
- Fluent English
- European time zone availability
