For one of our clients we are looking for an SRE Engineer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project scope is to deliver new functionality towards the Locker Room platform regarding customized model data management.
The Parties will follow the agile project management methodology Scrum (where the Software is programmed incrementally with time-boxed iterations as development cycles in 2 weeks Sprints).

Background:

For this project special expertise of Terraform, Jenkins (Groovy) and Akamai required, which is not available internally, and therefore needs to be covered by the contractor. Therefore, the contractor has a unique position compared to client’ internal project staff and provides significantly different services than the internal staff.

Primary technologies for this role:

Tasks:

Independent development of the software code as per requirements defined in Jira tickets retrieved by the contractor (new functionality, improvement, or bug fix for existing functionality) adhering to client and project standards & guidelines and shared upfront:
Build and improve microservices Jenkins deployment pipelines based on requirements defined in Jira and based on own expertise.
Establish an “infrastructure as a code approach”
Build and improve CI/CD process based on requirements defined in Jira
Professionally and technically consult the engineering team regarding CI/CD processes
Submit the code to the project repository in Bitbucket based on requirements defined in Jira
Document the implemented functionality/changes in Confluence
Update the status of ticket delivery in Jira on work done
Report in Jira any action/input required by other parties to implement the software changes on work done
