For one of our clients we are looking for a Brand Specialist for Oncology products
Project name: Oncology Market Development
Project Background:
The client is trying to implement a marketing plan for the indication areas/brands, the sub-areas of marketing and the sub-areas that are more difficult in terms of marketing.
This project involves lateral cross-functional teams and promotes the marketing/brand management content of multiple brand managers as well as stakeholder unity, promotes ideas and provides leadership in accordance with the company values/code of conduct.
Detailed service description:
Development of innovative local communication strategies and also measures for indication areas/brands.
Analyze customer needs to understand them in an ever-changing market environment.
Development and implementation of a marketing plan for the required indication areas/brands
Management of the brands for both late-stage assets in the field of oncology (focus on lung cancer)
Brand management consulting for the cross-functional asset teams
Preparation of the commercial launch including strategic and operational aspects
Creation of a global marketing plan for the indication area (brand strategy, target segments, critical success factors) using relevant information, channels, tools and processes for optimal product development in the market.
Development of the cross-functional integrated customer plan for the respective indication area and planning of the best possible implementation.
Preparation of a 2- and 5-year forecast, including an assessment of the competitive environment
Review the budget for direct promotion budgets and track whether the planned activities in the indication area remain within the framework.
Tracking the achievement of all operational goals, especially with regard to launchreadiness.
Creation and monitoring of results-oriented project plans in the area of responsibility. Manage cross-functional communication to advance project goals and comply with guidelines and ethical code of conduct.
Development of innovative multi-channel campaigns and content for the respective indication area according to the brand vision/positioning for the Customer Engagement Team. Taking into account customer needs and the increasing use of digital touchpoints as well as their integration into the campaigns.
Coaching and mentoring for the cross-functional product teams (marketing, medicine, CET, business analysis, market access). The coaching takes place in weekly individual sessions.
Required skills:
Sound experience in marketing in the field of oncology, ideally lung cancer
If possible, launch experience in this or adjacent areas
Strong initiative and willingness to drive processes and projects forward
High degree of independence and very good project management skills
Knowledge of health policy regulations in Germany
Strong social skills and leadership skills
Very good communication skills both in dealing with top management and colleagues in the field and/or worldwide
High flexibility and responsiveness to changing market requirements
Strategist and driver of innovative and creative solutions tailored to customer needs
Wide range of experience and willingness to share their knowledge/expertise and lead a team
Very good knowledge of the corporate strategy and the market strategy
High level of understanding of the interrelationships between the organizational units in HPG and Global and their working methods
Completed university studies in economics, natural sciences or psychology. At least 7-10 years of professional experience in marketing, sales and/or business analysis. Of which at least 3 years in the field of oncology
Fluent Englsih and German
Location: hybrid, 60% remote, 40% onsite (Ingelheim am Rhein) Capacity: 40h/week Start: January 2025 Duration: Till end of July 2025
