Technical Product Manager - April 2025

For one of our clients in the telecom industry, we’re looking for a freelance Technical Product Manager:
  1. Description of the background of the project/order:
RAITT is the technology program that is driving Telefonica's large-scale architecture transformation. The business areas B2C, B2P and B2B are affected. Architecture transformation, cloudification and technology modernization are the components that are being addressed here in order to achieve the new way of working. The service includes consulting for the Architecture & Innovation area. This includes the analysis, definition and documentation of technical IT solutions that meet all confirmed business requirements, correspond to the long-term target architecture and can be implemented within the specified time and budget specifications.
 
  1. Service description:
  • Independent definition, management and execution of long-term IT architecture and technology development. This ranges from the development of the architecture vision, creation of heat maps and roadmaps, backlog
  • Technical advice on architecture conformity
  • Implementation of agile business and architecture blueprints, the RAITT transformation vision, principles and guidelines
  • Creation of architecture assessments based on defined criteria and representation in the architecture governance board
  • Independent technical advice on the RAITT transformation project, differentiation from other implementation projects (FIT, Fuel, OSS Transformation) and advice to the specialist departments (B2C/P, B2B, Finance, Legal) in terms of IT and long-term technology development.
  • Advice on critical IT technology topics as part of consulting at all levels up to department manager level
  • Clarification of escalations and problems in architecture and technology developments as part of governance
  • Participation in project-related architecture meetings
  • Technical advice from #domain and solution architects and application experts
