Background of the project / order:
The service is required as part of the further development of the Finance Local Information Platform (FLIP).
Service description without personal reference:
Must have Skills: German, English, Data Warehousing, Big Data, Essbase, Information Engineering, Microsofrt Sql-Server, Oracle Databases, Databricks, Microsofrt Power BI
Workload: 24-30 hours a week
Location: Remote
Start: 01.07.2025
Duration: initial duration till end of Q3 2025, extensions planned until 31.12.2026
Background of the project / order:
The service is required as part of the further development of the Finance Local Information Platform (FLIP).
Service description without personal reference:
- Creation of a detailed technical concept (design) via prototypes (for reporting applications) for the use cases on the Financial Information Platform (FIP)
- Implementation of database connections with SQL and SSIS
- Connection of databases for processing and displaying server-side data
- Development and management of ETL processes for data integration between different systems, including preparation of data for Essbase reporting. (ETL = the abbreviation stands for Extract, Transform, Load)
- Application development with DataBricks (SQL, Python, PySpark)
- Development and maintenance of data processing applications
- Design and implementation of data pipelines.
- Data quality and consistency review
- Optimization of data processing processes
- Conducting data analysis and visualization
- Frontend development for the visual representation of data in PowerBI and Oracle ESSbase
- Implementation of multidimensional data models (OLAP = Online Analytical Processing)
- Provision of data for Oracle Essbase Smart View
- Test execution based on tests of the source code for the mentioned reporting applications and #Quality assurance before handover to the end users
- Programming of new interfaces (to source systems from the technology sector) for data exchange
