For one of our clients in the FMCG industry we are looking for a DWH Specialist for Automation of Regulatory List Processing

Description
  • The service is requested as part of a project to automate regulatory list processing within a compliance platform. The platform manages over 100 regulatory lists in various formats (PDF, Excel, websites, scanned documents), with inconsistent data structures and quality. Scalable and maintainable automation solutions are required to handle both existing and newly requested lists. Existing semi-automated workflows are limited in flexibility, documentation, and long-term viability due to tool availability and digital compliance constraints. A future-proof, customizable solution is required to ensure continued operational efficiency and compliance.
     
Tasks:
  • Designing and implementation of a proof-of-concept automation framework using low-code or Python technologies. The decision on choice of coding technology will be taken by the contraction in alignment with the client.
  • Development of robust methods for extracting, transforming, and loading data from the input formats shared with the contractor into a standardized internal format.
  • Implementation of comparison logic supporting chemical groups, names, and numerical identifiers.
  • Establishment of version control, branching, and deployment mechanisms for long-term maintainability.
  • Consultancy regarding test design for pilot lists to validate automation accuracy.
  • Proposing of solutions based on the external contractor’s expertise and experience if iterations are needed.
  • Preparation of documentation and training materials for internal use and adaptation and handing over to client.
  • Validation of compliance with digital security and internal compliance standards.


Requirements:
 
  • English – must
  • German – nice to have
  • At least 5 years professional/project experience
  • Experience in Extract / Transform / Load
  • Knowledge in Python, Azure DevOps, (low code frameworks)
