Overview:
- The service is requested as part of the Digital NGS Workflow Vienna project. The purpose of the project is to develop a digital workflow tool for NGS Labs (NORBERT) within the client.
- NORBERT is a web-based workflow system. The application supports the NGS workflow in the Department of Translational Medicine & Clinical Pharmacology (TMCP OTS) in Vienna and at other locations. It also provides sample management and reagent tracking capabilities. The system is used exclusively in the innovation unit.
- NORBERT accompanies the entire workflow of the TMCP OTS lab after the data has been loaded in JSON format.
Tasks:
- Examination of the technical feasibility of new features, including effort estimation. Documentation of a technical feasibility analysis for each new feature, based on the existing NORBERT architecture and the defined system requirements.
- Fixing bugs that occur by analyzing the root cause of program errors in the source code. Development and implementation of correction solutions (fixes) as well as their verification in the test environment.
- Development of new features in Typescript/Ionic/React for the frontend as well as implementation of necessary adjustments in the backend.
- Conducting tests of new developments in the browser, including end-to-end testing and integration testing
- Coordination of the execution of user tests to validate the developed features.
- Deployment of new release versions in the DEV, QA and PROD environments via the EDP platform, including definition and execution of the necessary deployment steps.
- Transfer of all created code and work results to client for review and further use.
