For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced freelance Senior SAP Supply Chain Planning Consultant.

The project aims to replace the existing SAP APO Demand Planning (DP) and Supply Network Planning (SNP) solutions with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and implement SAP ePPDS Sidecar as the new Production Planning solution. The objective is to establish an integrated planning environment through an Agile delivery model, supporting global rollouts over the next two years.
Responsibilities

• Analyze existing planning processes and system functionalities within the current landscape.
• Evaluate Supply Planning and Production Planning requirements and provide solution recommendations.
• Design target planning processes in SAP IBP (Supply & Response) and SAP ePPDS.
• Configure SAP IBP (Supply & Response) and SAP ePPDS, including master data and planning-relevant objects.
• Implement system enhancements within SAP IBP and SAP ePPDS.
• Support and execute integrations between SAP ECC/R3, SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, and SAP ePPDS Sidecar.
• Perform functional and integration testing, validate planning scenarios, and identify, document, and verify software defects.
• Identify process improvements, inconsistencies, and optimization opportunities.
• Maintain and adjust system configurations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical and functional documentation, including analysis reports, solution concepts, and configuration documentation.
• Conduct system-related workshops and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Collaborate with global business and IT stakeholders within Agile development cycles to support implementation and go-live activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of SAP Supply Chain Planning experience.
• Senior SAP IBP/ePPDS consulting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • SAP IBP (Supply & Response)
  • SAP ePPDS
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP ECC
  • CIF Integration
  • SAP Fiori
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Supply Planning
  • Production Planning
  • Capacity Planning
  • Detailed Scheduling
  • Inventory Planning
  • Integration Architecture
• Strong integration knowledge between ERP and planning systems.
• Solid understanding of Agile project delivery, functional specifications, and testing best practices.
• Experience with global template rollouts is preferred.
• Consumer Goods (CPG) experience is highly preferred; Manufacturing and Supply Chain Planning experience is advantageous.
• Experience with complex production networks, co-/by-products, inventory optimization, and deployment processes is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with global business and IT stakeholders and work across international teams and cultures.
• Business fluent English is required; German is a plus.
