Project Description: The objective of this project is the conceptualization of global medical affairs pipeline strategies and evidence generation frameworks for Gastroenterology (IBD) and Inflammation compounds.

Project Description: The objective of this project is the conceptualization of global medical affairs pipeline strategies and evidence generation frameworks for Gastroenterology (IBD) and Inflammation compounds.
Tasks:
1.Development of global medical and evidence strategy documents
- Independent drafting of comprehensive medical affairs strategies for Gastroenterology/IBD and Inflammation pipeline compounds.
- Professional Creation of strategic frameworks detailing product profiles and evidence plans spanning from early development through lifecycle management.
- Execution of structured evaluations on pre-clinical, clinical, and real-world data (RWE) to identify existing evidence gaps, unmet medical needs, and scientific substantiation parameters for the assigned Gastroenterology/IBD pipeline compounds.
- Technical analysis of advanced analytics datasets to scientifically assess the clinical efficacy, safety profiles, and potential differentiation markers of the assets.
- Drafting of finalized Evidence Generation Plans (EGPs) detailing the structural roadmap for future data collection requirements.
- Delivery of comprehensive analytical reports and structured evidence packages that translate the evaluated data into actionable scientific concepts for the product profile.
- Technical definition and instrument selection: Independent scientific research and technical evaluation to select appropriate Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) and Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) measurement tools tailored to the specific Gastroenterology/IBD patient population and pipeline compound.
- Drafting of formal strategy documents: Drafting of comprehensive COA/PRO strategy documents that scientifically justify the selected measurement instruments and define how they will satisfy the specific evidence requirements of health authorities and market access payers.
- Delivery of structural blueprints: Delivery of a finalized, structured COA/PRO Strategy Document detailing the parameters for embedding these measurement tools into upcoming clinical trial protocols.
- Creation of compelling medical narratives and detailed medical affairs plans based on evaluated pipeline parameters.
- Independent drafting of publication plans, data dissemination concepts, and structural frameworks for external clinical collaborations.
- Creation of structured medical and scientific content to be utilized in educational programs, symposia, and communication campaigns.
- Execution of analytical monitoring regarding the competitive landscape to draft strategic decision-making reports.
- Drafting of documented engagement concepts regarding health authorities, expert groups, patient organizations, and payers.
- Execution of technical presentations and provision of expert medical guidance within defined project timelines .
- Deliverables: Creation of comprehensive documentation, analysis, presentations, frameworks, concepts and medical content with all results regarding the above mentioned tasks with subsequent handover to client for review and approval for further usage.
Required Skills:
1. Education & Credentials
- Advanced degree in human health sciences required (MD, PhD, or PharmD in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a closely related field).
- Extensive experience in Global Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Deep therapeutic expertise in Gastroenterology / Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and/or Inflammation (candidates with strong cross-over in systemic immunology or related pipeline indications will also be considered if backed by strong global RWE experience).
- Proven track record in designing and implementing global evidence generation strategies beyond traditional sponsor-led clinical trials.
- Hands-on experience with Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) and Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) early in pipeline development to support regulatory, market access, and commercial positioning.
- Track record of driving data dissemination through peer-reviewed scientific publications and international congresses.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, chair, and influence cross-functional matrix teams at a global level.
- Active external network with leading Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), health authorities, patient advocacy organizations, and payers in the gastrointestinal/inflammation space.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
