Project description:
The service is requested as part of the Global Patient Partnership Initiative (GPPI), the client's global platform for partnership, capability building, and strategic insight generation across Therapeutic Areas. The objective of the service is the conceptualization of GPPI activities. The project involves the drafting of strategic governance frameworks, the delivery of structured project management documentation, and the development of structural concepts for the Global Patient Partnership Summit and ongoing Steering Committee dialogues.

Project description:
The service is requested as part of the Global Patient Partnership Initiative (GPPI), the client's global platform for partnership, capability building, and strategic insight generation across Therapeutic Areas. The objective of the service is the conceptualization of GPPI activities. The project involves the drafting of strategic governance frameworks, the delivery of structured project management documentation, and the development of structural concepts for the Global Patient Partnership Summit and ongoing Steering Committee dialogues.
Tasks:
1. Development and periodic delivery of strategic program management frameworks
- Drafting of structural project plans, timelines, governance structures, risk registers, dependency trackers, decision logs, and stakeholder maps.
- Execution of technical updates to project management documentation, including milestone tracking and action trackers, throughout the project duration to provide structured governance parameters.
- Creation of structured project status overviews, risk assessments, and planning updates for internal review for the duration of the project.
- Drafting of structural planning documents, workstream plans, agenda development concepts, and stakeholder engagement frameworks related to the Summit.
- Technical documentation of project decisions, dependencies, open items, and planning assumptions based on already provided inputs from content partners and external agencies.
3. Drafting of Steering Committee documentation and strategic insight reports
- Drafting of conceptual frameworks and technical documentation for recurring Steering Committee dialogue sessions encompassing broader healthcare policy, access trends, digital health, artificial intelligence (AI), trust, and health equity.
- Creation of Steering Committee briefing materials, agenda proposals, and meeting documentation for ongoing advisory activities.
- Independent consolidation and drafting of insight reports detailing Steering Committee recommendations, discussion outcomes, and strategic follow-up tracking.
- Execution of strategic research and evaluation of topics relevant to the future development of healthcare systems (policy developments, AI, digital health, trust, and emerging patient priorities).
- Drafting of briefing materials, discussion documents, background information packages, and comprehensive insight reports based on the evaluated strategic dialogue data.
- Drafting of planning materials, topic overviews, agenda documentation, and communication plans for quarterly Community Calls.
- Creation of structural discussion summaries, documented lessons learned, and analytical reports on emerging themes for future capability-building activities.
- Creation of structured stakeholder interaction plans and interface documentation to outline the technical engagement parameters between lead agencies, Patient Engagement leads, subject matter experts, and logistics providers. (Note: The contractor provides the documented frameworks; operational coordination of client employees remains an internal responsibility).
- Professional preparation of detailed decision logs, communication drafts, and structural planning materials spanning the entire assignment period.
- Creation of a finalized project handover document summarizing the project status, open activities, planning assumptions, and technical recommendations for project continuation.
Required skills:
- Senior Program / Project Management Experience (5+ years) — managing complex global multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Executive Governance Experience — Steering Committees, advisory boards, councils or comparable governance bodies.
- Strategic Stakeholder Management — experience interacting with senior external experts and senior corporate stakeholders.
- Healthcare / Pharma / Patient Engagement Experience strongly preferred.
- Event and Meeting Management Experience for international conferences, advisory boards or strategic summits.
- Outstanding Organizational and Follow-up Skills.
- Excellent Written and Verbal English.
- Experience Managing Multiple Agencies and External Vendors.
- Strong PMO Skills (risk tracking, governance, decision logs, action tracking, status reporting).
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Virtual Collaboration Tools.
- Ability to travel
