The purpose of the project is to independently manage defined external and potentially internal digital communication for specific opnMe projects, with the goal of generating relevant awareness and engagement.

Project Description
The service is requested as part of defined scientific communication and media projects connected to the open innovation portal, opnMe.com.
The purpose of the project is to independently manage defined external and potentially internal digital communication for specific opnMe projects, with the goal of generating relevant awareness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Profile & Digital Media Content Management
- Managing concrete opnMe projects across the M2O, Collaboration (M4C, opn2EXPERTS, techMATCH), and Talents (opn2TALENTS) pillars.
- Generating scientific profiles for the opnMe website and relevant scientific content for organic and paid digital media.
- Obtaining publication releases, including regulatory/legal and DR function reviews.
- Performing quality control and review of the web portal.
- Coordinating the timely release of projects on the web interface with communication activities.
- Managing Confluence/Jira as the project management backend tool.
- Further developing and optimizing the Confluence/Jira interface for the opnMe team.
- Planning and coordinating online seminars/webinars with external and internal scientific speakers.
- Managing speaker contracting in accordance with legal and compliance requirements, including Fair Market Value (FMV) assessments.
- Planning and coordinating the seminar channel/platform with external IT agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Managing the online registration process for external participants.
- Developing and coordinating pre-, during-, and post-event digital communication activities.
- Documenting campaigns in PowerPoint and presenting them to the communication team.
- Managing scientific abstract compilations and submissions.
- Creating booth concepts and layouts with support from interns or external agencies.
- Developing and delivering communication materials such as flyers and information brochures.
- Compiling presentations.
- Managing compliance and publication release reviews according to applicable regulations and internal processes.
- Managing testimonial and use case creation with external scientists who have interacted with the opnMe portal.
- Identifying contacts and developing suitable communication stories.
- Producing content for digital communication.
- Managing consent forms and related documentation.
- Coordinating publication releases where required.
- Creating communication materials for dissemination across events and other channels.
- Acting as the contact person for opnMe Google account management.
- Managing digital content and copy generation for Google Ads.
- Managing both display and search campaigns.
- Promoting specific opnMe projects and evergreen campaigns.
- Promoting publications, testimonials, and use cases.
- Developing proactive proposals for new campaigns, ideas, and use cases.
- Defining keywords and target audiences.
- Monitoring campaign performance and conducting A/B testing.
- Driving continuous improvement of digital campaigns.
- Coordinating the Google Ads release process with relevant internal teams and service providers.
- Ensuring timely delivery of ads in alignment with web portal releases.
- Managing pixel tracking.
- Providing quarterly reporting on digital communication impact.
- Providing subject matter expertise on paid media campaigns across digital communication channels.
7. SEO & GEO
- Managing search engine optimization (SEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO) for defined opnMe projects.
- Planning the generation and integration of Adobe Analytics tracking links into selected communication materials.
- Generating actionable insights based on predefined and newly developed KPIs.
- Analyzing campaign performance with support from Adobe Analytics specialists.
- Presenting relevant insights to the opnMe communication team.
- Evaluating project proposals and preparing evaluation reviews.
- Compiling appropriate responses for selected scientists and communication activities.
- Writing scientific decline messages.
- Managing the opnMe service email inbox.
- Responding to external requests in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Advanced degree, such as PhD or Master’s, in Life Sciences or a related scientific field.
- Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
- Proven experience in digital and scientific communication, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sector.
- Hands-on experience managing Google Ads, including search and display campaigns, keyword definition, target audience setting, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience with Confluence and Jira is an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience coordinating events, online seminars/webinars, or complex multi-stakeholder projects.
- Familiarity with compliance, legal, GDPR, and publication approval processes relevant to scientific and public communication.
