For one of our clients in the pharma industry, we are looking for a freelance Pricing & Access Enablement Senior Consultant
Project name: Access Reporting and AI Enablement
Overview:
The Access Reporting and AI Enablement project covers reporting, AI prototyping, data systems activities and dashboard enablement across Access & Pricing. The project aims to establish a documented and transferable MFN reporting process, evaluate automation options, create an AI prototype for an already assessed use case, define Pricing & Access Data Systems deliverables and develop a roadmap for dashboard enablement.
Tasks:
Goal:
The goal after completion of the services is a documented and transferable MFN reporting process, including an assessment of automation options and performance of the agreed implementation activities by the end of Month 3, subject to the stated dependencies.; one evaluated AI prototype based on an existing use-case assessment, with a second conditional on capacity and dependencies; defined Data Systems deliverables throughout the six-month period; and prioritized dashboard requirements, solution concepts and handover. Excluded are reassessment of all six AI use cases, production implementation of all use cases, complex agent development, multiple production dashboards, workstream ownership, unlimited operational or analytical requests, permanent ownership, and internal approval or investment decisions.
Priority 1 — MFN reporting: Month 1 onboarding, process familiarization and reporting continuity. Assessment and documentation of automation options and performance of the agreed implementation activities for the prioritized solution by the end of Month 3, subject to the stated dependencies. Reporting, improvement and handover continue as required through Month 6.
Priority 2 — AI prototyping: Months 1–2 confirm scope, acceptance criteria and technical approach for one already identified use case assessed through the existing framework. Months 2–5: development, testing and refinement of the prototype. A second prototype may be initiated only if capacity and dependencies permit. Month 6: preparation of recommendations and completion of the handover.
Priority 3 — Data Systems: Provide agreed requirements, testing, communication, guidance, training and issue documentation continuously across Months 1–6.
Priority 4 — Dashboard enablement: Months 2–3: inventory and prioritization of reporting needs. Months 3–5: definition of dashboard requirements, wireframes, data-quality requirements and governance arrangements. Month 6: finalization of the prioritized roadmap and completion of the handover.

Tasks:
- Independent preparation of monthly MFN reports, including source, assumption, quality-check, approval and version records; assessment of automation opportunities; and preparation of the handover package.
Independent definition and piloting of an automated monthly MFN report, including purpose, users, requirements, indicators, business rules, data needs, overlap assessment, template, stakeholder feedback, operating model and delivery recommendation. Implementation of selected option. - Independent completion of prioritized MFN analyses, including documented methods, sources, assumptions and limitations; reusable templates; request tracking; and recommendations for standardization or automation.
- Independent inventory and assessment of in-scope reports, trackers and dashboards; development of the target-state concept, prioritized roadmap, dashboard requirements and wireframes, data-quality requirements, governance, ownership and implementation handover.
- Independent review of the existing assessments for the identified AI use cases and confirmation of the implementation approach for one priority prototype. A second prototype may be selected only if capacity and dependencies permit.
- Independent definition, configuration, development, testing and handover of one selected AI prototype, including documentation and escalation of critical test findings in accordance with the agreed escalation process, severity classification, notification channel and response timeline. A second prototype is optional and will be delivered only if capacity and dependencies permit. Delivery remains subject to approved technology, data, reviews, users and technical capacity. If the stated dependencies prevent completion of a functional prototype, the scope of services will comprise an implementation-ready concept, a functional specification, a test plan and a dependency-resolution plan.
- Independent provision of the following Pricing & Access Data Systems services: documentation of business requirements and user requirements; functionality review; preparation of user-acceptance-test materials; documentation of test results; preparation of communications, user guidance and training materials; and formulation of recommendations. Overall workstream management and technical implementation remain with internal owners.
- Independent maintenance of project documentation, output repository, decision/dependency/risk/issue log and ownership matrix; delivery of knowledge-transfer sessions and the final closure report with outstanding actions and next steps.

Required Experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical Market Access and/or Pricing.
- Experience in business reporting, analytics and dashboard requirements definition.
- Experience translating business needs into data, reporting and technology solutions.
- Experience working at the interface between business stakeholders, Data & Analytics and IT.
- Experience implementing or piloting AI-enabled business solutions.
- Experience supporting business transformation, system rollout or process improvement initiatives.
- Strong project delivery experience in a complex, cross-functional environment.
