For one of our clients in the apparel industry we’re looking for a freelance RFP Consultant:
Preparation of the RFP (Request For Proposal) documentation (Excel, PowerPoint) for the outbound transportation services for eCom parcel couriers (as per project list). Documentation will include standard terms and conditions, RFP commercial requirements, operational transportation requirements, IT requirements, security, data protection and code of conduct requirements, quotation templates, contract templates, selection criteria templates. The client will double check the documentation.
Creating sourcing project timeline and communication plan to carry out sourcing activities (collecting business requirements, tendering, negotiation, contracting) as per procurement sourcing methodologies. The sourcing will focus on last mile distribution services of eCom parcel deliveries from our warehouses to end consumers throughout China. Supplier and the client data tenders will be carried out in Ariba eSourcing tool, but the contractor will not have access to the tool, only provide input data and get output data for analysis.
Creation of selection criteria and evaluation of supplier’s commercial submissions in the formats excel, powerpoint, online-call and based on the contractor’s expertise and input from the client functions, like global and local SCM Transportation, SCM Finance, Legal and Procurement.
Creating different negotiation approaches as well different business allocation scenarios. The client will select the vendor based on the evaluation and award the business that is within the scope of the tenders. The client will double check the selection criteria and the evaluation.
Create a parcel courier transport industry study to identify future trends, current challenges, and creation of a supplier map for identified services. Internal and external materials will be used in the formats Word, Excel & Powerpoint. The client business functions, SCM, and NTP will receive the information.
Creating award and contract documents for completed sourcing events (as per project list) to be checked by the client.
