Tasks:
Ski Touring apparel: pattern creation and prototype a layering concept optimized for perfect thermoregulation. The contractor will base the pattern on by adidas provided design, that will be provided after onboarding. The pattern design will be done based on contractors own expertise. At the end of the pattern designing process, the contractor will hand the digital pattern and eventually the prototypes over and they will be approved by adidas. The format will be agreed on after onboarding.

Capacity: part-time (1-2 days/week)

- Short description of the project: the service is requested for the outdoor Apparel Innovation, subcategory is the ski touring concept
- The ski touring projects aim is to create precisely thermoregulated, durable & lightweight layering systems that prevent a drop in muscle output
Tasks:
Ski Touring apparel: pattern creation and prototype a layering concept optimized for perfect thermoregulation. The contractor will base the pattern on by adidas provided design, that will be provided after onboarding. The pattern design will be done based on contractors own expertise. At the end of the pattern designing process, the contractor will hand the digital pattern and eventually the prototypes over and they will be approved by adidas. The format will be agreed on after onboarding.
Services in detail:
- Technical consultation on apparel execution/full pattern creation (based on provided adidas base pattern) for an outer layer (jacket) and a pant as well as a mid layer.
- The contractor will create up to 3 rounds of pattern, fit them, add details as pockets, trims that are needed based on the needs provided by adidas.
- adidas provides all necessary products, information, contact details, documents, access to relevant systems and all other requirements in advance
- TBD: Development of final prototypes according to the sketches provided and discussed after onboarding.
- The contractor will create prototypes for athletes sewn either on site or in own atelier. Materials will be provided by adidas.
- A techpack for the ski touring layering system, will also be created alongside the final prototypes in order for adidas to be able to replicate the final prototype in the sample studio for athlete testing. After hand over, there will be a sign off by adidas.
