Project Name: RWE-ONIS category management
Project Description:
The Project is part of an effort to design market research, contract reviews, supplier selections, and strategy development for Real World Evidence (RWE) and Observation and Non-intervention Studies (ONIS).
The objective is to gather an analysis of market trends, assess the business situation, correlate with company priorities, manage existing Real-World Data (RWD) contracts, and refresh the category strategy including supplier selection for RWE and ONIS.
Tasks: Stage 1: Understanding Market Trends and Business Situation
Task 1.1: Conduction of a comprehensive market analysis to identify trends affecting RWE and ONIS. This involves a detailed examination of the current market landscape to pinpoint relevant trends.
Task 1.2: Assessment of the current business situation and its impact on the category. This task requires evaluating the present circumstances of the business in relation to the RWE and ONIS categories.
Task 1.3: Report and integrate findings with company priorities. This involves focusing on synthesizing the information gathered in the previous tasks and correlating it with the company's strategic direction.
Stage 2: Review and Management of RWD Contracts
Task 2.1: Review of all existing contracts for RWD to determine their status and effectiveness. This includes a detailed analysis of current contractual agreements related to Real-World Data.
Task 2.2: Decision-making regarding contract renewals or extensions. Evaluation of the strategic importance of each contract in relation to overall category goals to determine the future of existing RWD contracts
Task 2.3: Documentation of the review process and decisions made. Which includes the creation of a formal record of the contract review activities.
Stage 3: Supplier Selection for ONIS Studies
Task 3.1: Identification of new requirements by determining the specific needs for upcoming ONIS studies.
Task 3.2: Preparation and execution of the supplier selection process. This task focuses on the activities involved in choosing appropriate suppliers.
Task 3.3: Creation of a definition of the scope of work for each selected supplier. This task involves clearly outlining the services to be provided by chosen suppliers.
Stage 4: Global Demand Analysis and Preferred Suppliers’ Selection for ONIS
Task 4.1: Creation of a spend and global demand analysis to gather requirements from different areas and countries. This involves a comprehensive review of spending data and demand forecasts.
Task 4.2: Performance of a market scan to identify potential suppliers that can cover the requirements in terms of scope, capabilities, and areas of expertise. This task focuses on researching the supplier landscape.
Task 4.3: Definition of selection criteria based on the demand analysis and requirements. This involves establishing the standards for supplier selection.
Task 4.4: Identification and selection of global preferred suppliers based on updated criteria. This involves the final stage of supplier selection.
Stage 5: Refreshing the Category Strategy
Task 5.1: Review of the existing category strategy for ONIS. This involves an analysis of the current strategic plan.
Task 5.2: Update of the strategy with new data and insights. This involves the focus on revising the category strategy.
Required skills:
5+ years of experience
Pharmaceutical experience, preferably in sourcing and in the management of Real-World Evidence or Market Access, Clinical Development or Non Interventional studies
Tools experience: PowerBI, Excel, etc
International experience in corporate structure
Fluent English
