For one of our client we are looking for a Finance Specialist with a strong Energy background

Project description: The aim of the project is the sale/divestment of a power plant and district heating business.

Tasks:

• Professional financial advice to client in the context of the divestment activities based on our own knowledge and experience
• Creation of an Excel-based integrative financial model based on the information provided by the client in advance and its own expertise:
   
  • Preparation of underlying assumptions (Assumption Book)
     
  • Calculation of the hold values / sale prices of the power plant and the district heating company
     
  • Calculation and valuation of the business remaining with the client with the divested power plant and the divested district heating company
     
  • Integration of the financials from a separate energy modelling program that models the merit order of the district heating/power generation sources
     
• Handover of the final financial model to the client for approval and further use
  
   

Must Have:

• German
• Business models must be mastered (KPI's)
• Knowledge of the energy industry

Nice to have:

• English
• M&A Expertise.

Start: ASAP
Duration: 1 year+
Location: remote, 1x a week for project meetings in Düsseldorf
Capacity: full-time (40h/week)
