1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
a. Short Description:
This project focuses on fashion and luxury graphic design. Specifically, for the Wales Bonner / Grace graphic design collaboration, adidas will develop new designs.
b. Project Aim:
The goal of this project is to enhance and create new designs for the Wales Bonner / Grace collection.
For this project, adidas requires an external contractor with specialized expertise in logo creation and detailed illustrated graphics. This skill set is not available internally, necessitating an external Junior Designer.
2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
adidas will provide all necessary products, information, contact details, documents, access to relevant systems, and all other requirements in advance.
The contractor will independently perform the following tasks:
Creation of Detailed Graphic Design for Placed Artworks or All Over Prints:
The contractor will deliver high-level graphic design work that enhances the overall quality and effectiveness of adidas design projects.
3. TIMELINES
Start Date: 10.03.2025
Location: 80% remote, 20% onsite in Herzogenaurach, Germany
Duration: Until 15.09.2025
Capacity: part-time 28 hours/week

Creation of Detailed Graphic Design for Placed Artworks or All Over Prints:
- Adidas will provide a template upfront.
- The contractor will propose different suitable executions based on their expertise.
- Tools for design include analogue and digital sketching; the contractor provides their own licenses for design applications.
- The contractor will hand over 2-3 designs to adidas for review, shared via email.
- Adidas will provide a color palette upfront.
- The contractor will create designs using Adobe Illustrator as the key design tool (own license required).
- The contractor will submit 2-3 color and graphic execution proposals (e.g., prints, embroideries) to adidas via email.
- The contractor is responsible for initial color proposals only; further modifications will be handled by adidas.
- Adidas will provide a color palette upfront.
- Artwork creation will be based on the contractor’s expertise.
- The contractor will independently specify artwork size and execution.
- The contractor will deliver final files to adidas via email in Adobe Illustrator or PDF format, which adidas will adjust and upload accordingly.
The contractor will deliver high-level graphic design work that enhances the overall quality and effectiveness of adidas design projects.
- 10 March – Brief after Design Review for FW26 Y3 Collection / Wales Bonner / Grace
- 15 March – Project start
- 4 April – Brief A TYPE
- 11 April – Step Check for FW26 Y3 Collection / Wales Bonner / Grace
- 18 May – Second Step Check for FW26 Y3 Collection / Wales Bonner / Grace
- 25 June – General Check-in on Open Topics
- 15 September – Final Check-in and Project Conclusion
