Project description:
The goal after completion of the service is to have an enhanced and improved IT communication strategy in place and implement a new working model within IT communications to facilitate the delivery of Communications and Digital Enablement. The project has been ongoing, and has already delivered some improvements. However, recent dissatisfaction with the Communications approach within the client IT, shows that more radical improvements are required.

The goal after completion of the service is to have an enhanced and improved IT communication strategy in place and implement a new working model within IT communications to facilitate the delivery of Communications and Digital Enablement. The project has been ongoing, and has already delivered some improvements. However, recent dissatisfaction with the Communications approach within the client IT, shows that more radical improvements are required.
Task description:
- Conduct an initial assessment of the existing processes, documents, survey results and conduct gap analysis. This includes a review of current templates and guidelines provided by the client. Processes to be reviewed are provided by the client and include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Change management, incident management, problem management, knowledge management, event management, digital enablement design and implementation, YouLearn delivery, communications release.
- Review the existing processes, conduct interviews with stakeholders, and create a communication model which addresses the concerns. The communication model should consist of process descriptions, role descriptions, organizational requirements and governance. The governance includes guidelines, standards, templates and processes which clarifies the roles and responsibilities of all involved parties in the communication process for the client IT. The recommendation can be done in any format
- Present the recommendation to the Head of, and the Communication & Digital Enablement Coordinator, in Service Relations & Digital Enablement.
- Gather final signoff of said communication model.
- Professionally consult the client on tooling that can be used to a) ensure efficient process within the client IT communications community, and b) reach end users.
- Professionally consult the client on the best approach when implementing the communication strategy, including how to gain acceptance within the client IT communications community.
- Professionally consult the team Service Governance and the Reporting team to develop and enhance the Digital Training Strategy and consult on the platform strategy.
- Develop a coherent project document including the above and get the appropriate client sign offs.
- Tools: Ping, MS-teams, MS Office Suite
- Experience in project environments in big companies.
- Expertise in terms of IT communication
- Strong analytical approach
- Work independently
