remote/Ingelheim, remote/Ingelheim
For one of our clients we are looking for an UX Researcher/Designer for Pharma

Background:
  • The service is requested as part of the project LLM Platform. The project has the purpose of building a unified internal interface to language modeling technologies and leveraging this as a technical basis for implementing LLM use cases from various internal business units and -functions. The platform itself serves as a developer interface encapsulating different functionalities necessary for development of custom use case by technical experts. Additionally, a self-service product will be built on top of this platform, to enable implementation of more basic use cases by business experts directly.

  • Create, present and evaluate solution ideas
  • Evolve ideas into solutions in line with feedback
  • Design the user interaction iteratively until the final design is implemented
  • Adhere to client’s design principles
  • Use and contribute to the client Design System
  • Collaborate with the IT UX Design Chapter, e.g. attend meetings, present way of working and deliverables, share experiences

Requirements for the candidate
  • Experience in designing solutions with LLM technology in particular or AI in general
  • Experience with questions of acceptance, utilization of new technologies and dealing with skepticism towards new technologies among users who are less tech-savvy
  • Experience in generative research
  • Creativity in finding solutions in close collaboration with the product owner
  • Experience in the user-centered design of technically complex solutions in a new, as yet undefined environment
  • Mastery of design thinking and user-centered solution design (products, services, processes)
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical research sector desirable
  • Experience with natural scientists as a user group desirable
  • Excellent English and German language skills
  • Working in hybrid mode, approx. 2-3 days a week onsite (Ingelheim) at the beginning
  • Travel 20%

Skills required:
  • Knowledge in dealing with AI
  • Language skills in English and German
  • Strong communication skills
  • The person should preferably have worked with customers who are active in the field of natural sciences

Start: ASAP
Duration: 1 year+
Location: 80% remote, 20% onsite (Ingelheim)
