Project description: The goal of the project is the implementation of additional security compliance standards on various power plant sites in the UK and Germany in regards to the OsiSoft PI data historian system. To comply to these additional security standards the current architecture needs to be evaluated and an improved solution architecture needs to be proposed.

Project description: The goal of the project is the implementation of additional security compliance standards on various power plant sites in the UK and Germany in regards to the OsiSoft PI data historian system. To comply to these additional security standards the current architecture needs to be evaluated and an improved solution architecture needs to be proposed.
Tasks:
- Design, develop, and implement complex IIOT systems within Azure that meet business requirements which are provided by the client and security requirements in a hybrid environment consisting of on-premises and cloud-based services based on own knowledge and experience
- Plan and design the infrastructure necessary to support the proposed solutions at the edge of OT and IT. The results will be presented (online meeting) for a final sign-off
- Coordinate the client IIOT team with the aim to reach a seamless integration of the relevant subsystems, services and components within the overall system architecture based on own expertise for Aveva PI and Azure IOT.
- Assess potential risks associated with system implementation and propose mitigation strategies in an online meeting toc client for sign-off
- Coordinate the further development of centrally managed IT services such as network architecture and firewall change requests
- Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, design decisions, and configurations and hand over to the client.
- Plan and perform a workshops (online) with stakeholders to identify, gather and understand requirements with the goal of translating them into system specifications.
Required skills:
- Successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the IT or OT sector
- Profound knowledge in network and server technologies
- Knowledge on threat analysis and risk assessments in industrial environments
- Experience with Azure cloud services desirable
- Aveva PI and Azure IOT
- Experience in the field of cybersecurity and related projects desirable
