Project Manager/PMO - June 2024
Dusseldorf, DusseldorfFor one of our clients we are looking for a Project Manager/PMO.
Project name: Procurement Digitalization Road Map 2024.
Project description: The aim of the program is to apply focus within the high priority digitalization project of procurement for 2024. We have selected 13 projects of which 6 projects have started. All projects are aimed at improving the digital landscape for procurement.
Planned project duration for the entire project (start/end): April 2024 till December 2024 (follow up till 2026).
Task description - The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are performed independently:
1. Planning: Professionally steer the project objectives with broader organizational goals (provided by the Client in advance) and develop comprehensive project roadmaps based on own knowledge and experience.
2. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and track project progress and identify areas for improvement. Implement the performance metrics and generate relevant reports. Present the results (online) to inform and consult the Client to make the final decision
3. Coaching and Mentoring: Professionally consult and coach the procurement projects leads of the digitization projects (different level of project management experience) in their roles as project leads based on own experience and evaluation.
4. Stakeholder Communication: Create a communication plan for the early stages of the programme and implement it into the project. Hand over the final plan to the Client for a sign-off.
5. Risk Management: Identificate, assess and mitigate project risks and create strategies to minimize potential disruptions. Hand over the final strategies to the Client for a sign-off.
6. Resource Management: Coordinate resource allocation and optimization. Adept both human and material resources efficiently with the aim of achieving the project goals based on own expertise.
Appear clearly as an external consultant of the Client whenever interacting with external parties.
The Client provides all necessary information, access to the systems and requirements in advance.
Must haves: Experience in digitalization projects and change management
Location: 90% remote with one day in Duesseldorf onsite but 100% remote is also possible
Start: ASAP
Duration: Till 31.01.2025
