- Project name: REACT@RSG program
Info:
- The service is requested as part of the REACT@RSG program.
- The goal of the project is to optimize the use of the Research Site Germany (RSG) campus. This includes modernization of buildings in terms of technology, occupational safety and climate and environmental protection, the construction of a new state-of-the-art research building and the consolidation of areas in the existing buildings.
- Additionally, the program is establishing sharing concepts for spaces and equipment to maximize the use of available resources, with the goal of best using our lab and office space, reducing costs for utilities, maintenance, and equipment, while maintaining high productivity and effective collaboration.
- To ensure a seamless communication of the upcoming refurbishment measures and the implementation of lab- and office sharing measures, the contractor aims to independently devise and execute a robust communication strategy for the program.
Tasks:
1.Content Creation & Editorial Services:
- The development, population, and maintenance of the REACT@RSG SharePoint site as a key information hub for stakeholders during the service period.
- Creation of news articles, FAQs and contact information, providing background details about the program, and preparing cross-departmental and department-specific information on upcoming measures.
- Conduction of individual information appointments for the departments. These appointments take place both on-site and virtually. During these appointments, the consultant is clearly identifiable as an external employee.
- Conceptualization and creation of content for the program for other channels
- Visual design of SharePoint banners, posters to visualize blocked or “under refurbishment” areas with important information and other digital assets
- Advising the program team in involving stakeholders and in advancing program-internal sub-projects.
- Preparation of user surveys and evaluation of ongoing communication measures. Integration and processing of user feedback. Surveys are conducted anonymously via MS FORMS.
Required skills:
- Strong Communication Skills: The freelancer will need to develop and implement a robust communication strategy. This requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, as well as the ability to effectively convey complex information to various target audiences with diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in SharePoint: The freelancer will be responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of the REACT@RSG SharePoint site. Therefore, they should have a strong understanding of SharePoint, including how to create and update content in an engaging manner.
- Graphic Design Skills: Having graphic design skills could be beneficial for this role. The freelancer will be creating content for the SharePoint site, posters etc., and the ability to create visually engaging graphics could help to make this content more appealing and effective. This includes proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools.
- Collaborative Skills: The freelancer should be able to work effectively with various departments and stakeholders, demonstrating strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and resolve issues, as well as adapt to changing circumstances, is crucial for this role.
- Organizational Skills: Given the variety of tasks involved, the freelancer should be able to manage their time and resources effectively, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
