For one of our clients we are looking for a Color Designer for men’s training Apparel Concepts
Overview:
Color strategy and direction for Men´s Training APP FW26.
The project has the purpose that the client delivers the full color role out for the Men´s Training Apparel collection for FW26 across all price points, from conceptual and inspirational stage to detailed color applications in the garments.
The scope of the service is the creation and execution of a color strategy for FW26 season Training APP Men´s and the application of it to the complete Men´s Training collection, including business and consumer insights and relevant training trends.
Tasks:
Trend research and competitor analysis for FW26 Training Apparel Men´s color direction and mood-board creation for color across material, styling, gfx, visual merchandising and cultural insights for FW26, from commercial to pinnacle expression based on own expertise. Final presentation makersphase. Present findings to client via Miro and illustrator
Illustrator Moodboard, story creation and color card creation by collection for concept sign off → 1 moodboard per quarter by concept, based on internal template, shared upfront
Placeholder illustrator figurine creation to show color card application per range, Gutcheck 1 → 1 set per quarter by concept, based on internal template, shared upfront
Illustrator strategic color strategy deck creation by quarter, Gutcheck 1
Creation of all heather and graphics color combination for the men´s products, Gutcheck 2
Mapping of all articles by range on illustrator placeholder merch pages, to define the color usage by article and upload to Miro, Gutcheck 2 → 1 per range, based on internal template, shared upfront
Update of physical and digital color cards and application, based on feedback from client at the respective review stages, after Makersphase, Concept Sign off, Gutcheck 1, Gutcheck 2. Update based on own expertise, feedback to be captured individually and shared back with the client, via one note or miro
Handover all FW26 color cards, moodboards and article mappings to client, before Gutcheck 2

18.11: Brief Handover (Marketing Meeting)
9.12: FW26 Concept Sign Off (Design Meeting)
First 2 weeks of January: FW26 Gutcheck 1 (Design Meeting)
Last 2 weeks of January: FW26 Gutcheck 2 (Design Meeting)
