Project Management Office (PMO) for Carve Out project

For one of our clients we are looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) for Carve Out project
 
Project description:
There is a need of steering the Project Management related activities within the Carve-Out project and between the different stakeholders. Moreover, the PMO coordinates the workstream leads to streamline activities. Planned project duration:  until 31.12.2019.

Task:
  • Coordinates the operational project management of the work stream leads
  • Prepare decision material for the work stream lead
  • Organizational as well as administrative preparation of meetings, hosting, wrap-up andcreation of respective documentation
  • Coordinate and support work stream leads
  • Create project reportings for work stream leads and program managers
  • Main point of contact for client
  • Administrative preparation of project related status update meetings with management
    boards as well as respective presentations
  • Support of risk management & respective measures
  • Program PMO
  • Portfolio Office Management tasks: project creation (PDD), monthly status updates in POT, change request management, project closure and acceptance report
  • Project coordination and team management, i.e. by use of holiday / absence calendar, task list and risk reporting, creation of project org charts
  • CWS point of contact with regard to order process of external specialists
  • Planning of project milestones for all IT projects and identify / highlight dependencies between the different projects
  • Controlling activities, such as creation of PCR, request of WBS elements & cost allocation, project controlling by monitoring adherence to budgetary project requirements and SAP alignment as well as project closure
  • Creation of invoices and bills, evaluation of actual quotations
  • Preparation of reporting documents (e.g. to M&A)
  • Organize and moderate status calls for project team members
  • Preparation of PSC (Project steering committee) meetings and creation of all relevant presentations as well as minutes
  • Set up structure on SharePoint for consolidated project related information across workstreams
 
Required experience:
  • High level of independent working
  • Flexibility and experience in working under pressure
  • Very good analytical, organizational and strong communication skills
  • Very good customer/business orientation
  • Presentation and moderation skills
  • Experience in intercultural Teams
  • 2-3 years of experience as PMO
  • Good understanding the role of IT towards Business with regards to IT and overall business dependencies
  • Experience in IT demerger / carve out projects
  • Basic understanding of the business in the area of Finance, Controlling, Legal, Tax, HR and Operations
  • High ability to organize and to apply structure in a dynamic project environment
  • International Project Management skills
  • Requirements that fit with the program governance (POT, SPOT, Cost Planning, PCR …)
  • Preparation of working documents Travel Required dependent on project
