For one of our clients we are looking for an IT Process & Strategy Consultant

Description:
 
Common Services Design and Products (CSD&P) was initially set up during UNITE to receive change delivery and product management of the outsourced shared services from the client (MCC, MWP, MDC etc). At this point the daily operations of these services were delivered by the outsourced providers, managed by EBS and supported by the MSO (service integrator). At the point CSD&P was set up it was presumed this arrangement would continue. Shortly after set up it became clear that :
There were still many complex changes needed to complete the separation from former owner which require the main focus of the experts in CSD&P. EBS would not continue to deliver the common services and the MSO scope had been revised (for the client) to remove many of the integrator topics (in line with the expectation that a client SO takes over) with EBS and the MSO no longer directly steering the providers and the employees from CSD&P now being primarily focused on change we need to review how the team is organized in order to cover operational gaps.

Activities:
  • Analysis of current organization, governance and processes for delivering IT Services and Projects
  • Documentation of identified strengths and weaknesses in current Product and Services Delivery Model, processes
  • Definition of a target scenario for the organization supporting a product oriented and agile delivery approach and cross-functional collaboration
  • Definition of initial KPIs to measure efficiency
  • Recommended implementation roadmap
  • Analysis of current organization, governance and processes for delivering IT Services and Projects
  • Documentation of identified strengths and weaknesses in current Product and Services Delivery Model, processes
  • Definition of a target scenario for the organization supporting a product oriented and agile delivery approach and cross-functional collaboration
  • Identify Service Owner gaps within the area of Common Service Design & Product - consult & present possible solution about how to best close such gaps
  • Develop a future set-up of Common Service Operations to have clear responsibilities and ownership of services incl.including milestone dates, risks, issues, dependencies & budget
  • Creation of documentation like job profiles and role definition of Service Owner etc.
  • Coordinate cross functionality (input from and output to stakeholders involved at each stage) between a number of Support Functions (i.e. License Management, Service Management, Contract Management) and Project Managers.
  • Provide consultancy for project managers to adapt processes and methods
